Getting started...
I prefer to be given a selection of photos to choose from. Not every photo converts well to a painting. Here are a few guidelines on what makes a good choice; pictures taken from a comfortable distance (extreme close ups don't work well), outdoor lighting is usually better, pictures taken from down at the animal's level (not from above). I'm happy to look at a few pictures and help you decide. Also for a fee I am willing to come and do the photography for you.
